MIDNIGHT MASSES SIGN TO SUPERBALL MUSIC!

"Midnight Masses had been a way for me to musically document my travels and experiences for the past few years. I've had the pleasure to share this with many of my closest and most talented friends. In a way this record is a eulogy of things I've lost (whether that may be relatives, lovers, faith, or my own mind) - a memorial of sorts. And the band is everyone I would want at my own funeral." - Autry Fulbright

QUEENSRYCHE BEGINS WORK ON NEW ALBUM!

"The Queensrÿche internal dynamic has certainly changed in terms of musicianship. It's more of a cohesive team and the chemistry we have now is making what we can do creatively limitless. For Queensrÿche, it was always about being able to write together as a band. We didn't have that for a long time but now that it's back, we feel extremely liberated," states founding guitarist Michael Wilton.  "We've already begun the writing process for the next album and have a few songs demoed that we feel really good about. We're taking the songs in the classic Queensrÿche direction but maybe a little more progressive and heavier at times. The thing is, you never know what you really have until it's complete. We can't wait for the final outcome. Writing with such a dynamic group of individuals has been nothing short of amazing."

INSOMNIUM - "SHADOWS OF THE DYING SUN" ALBUM REVIEW!

Insomnium unleashes their sixth studio album today via Century Media. This melodic masterpiece delivers in all aspects of metal that we have grown to love about Insomnium while tightening their grip around a tighter and diverse execution of metal. I'll be honest, I've never heard much from these guys in the past but after listening to this album I have a new found respect for them and their music.

RICHARD PATRICK OF FILTER INTERVIEW!

In my opinion, Filter's latest album, The Sun Comes Out Tonight, is a great album that needs more attention than it is getting. It's heavy, it's soft, it is the best of every world. That is what I've always liked about Filter. They are a great diverse band that can pull off just about anything they want. I was able to ask founding member Richard Patrick a few questions. Here is what he had to say...

FOZZY PREMIERES NEW TRACK VIA LOUDWIRE.COM!

I usually don't post news that takes you to another site to hear other news but, I'm a Fozzy fan. Even more of a Chris Jericho fan. But not for his wrestling, he is a huge advocate for metal. So Fozzy will always get my support.

FOZZY have been a constant force in the Metal scene and worldwide touring circuit since 2000. The band is the brainchild of Rich Ward and Chris Jericho, two larger-than-life, trailblazing personalities that have spent the past decade shaping their own brand of sonic splendor. Now with a brand new song FOZZY is ready rock your face off!

MARTYR DEFILED "NO HOPE FOR MORALITY" ALBUM REVIEW!

Based in the UK, Martyr Defiled is set to release their sophomore album No Hope for Morality this coming week! After listening to the new album for a few days I would say it's a soundtrack for angry. Listening to this album is like going to angry management and then punching a puppy for no apparent reason.
